Become a Climate Advocacy Champion The FXB Climate Advocates program is a transformative opportunity for young individuals between the ages of 13-25 who are passionate about addressing the global climate crisis. Hosted by the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University, this free, virtual program empowers you to become a leader in climate action.
By attending this 11-week program, you will:
- Gain Insights from Experts: Learn from renowned experts in climate science, policy, and advocacy from organizations like Harvard University, New York University, Project Drawdown, and Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
- Build a Global Network: Connect with fellow climate advocates from around the world, fostering collaboration and shared learning.
- Develop Action-Oriented Skills: Acquire the knowledge and tools needed to design and implement a community-based climate action project.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be 25 years of age or younger in 2024
- Commit a minimum of 3 hours per week to the program
- Demonstrate proficiency in the English language
- Have access to a laptop/device and reliable internet connectivity
- Exhibit a genuine interest in climate action and community engagement
Selection Process:
- All applications submitted by the August 16, 2024 deadline will be reviewed based on demonstrated interest and thoroughness.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a 15-minute Zoom interview.
