An Oil & Gas Company in Cairo, Egypt is looking for Legal Advisor to join their team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree of Law
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer
- Excellent English language proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian Investment Laws and Regulations
- Expertise in Egyptian Court Procedures
- Proven ability in contract drafting
- Experience in Board Meeting administration
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Company Secretary, responsible for organizing and documenting Board of Directors and Shareholders’ meetings.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by liaising with GAFI, Ministry of Investment, and Commercial Register.
- Monitor legislative changes and communicate their impact to relevant departments.
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to company management and departments.
- Conduct thorough legal risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Represent the company in legal disputes and proceedings.
