Pretoria, South Africa – The Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria is excited to announce its upcoming hybrid conference, “Disability Rights, Information, and Communication Technologies in Africa.” This two-day event will take place on November 13-14, 2024.
The guidelines for consideration for abstracts must be followed strictly:
- Written in English
- Length: 300-350 words
- Format: MS Word document (not PDF)
Some Topics to Consider:
- Legal frameworks for ICT and disability in Africa
- Digital inclusion/exclusion of persons with disabilities in Africa
- Assistive devices and access to education in Africa
- ICT impact on persons with disabilities during crises in Africa
Authors will be notified of their abstract acceptance for the Annual Disability Rights in Africa Conference (13-14 November 2024) by 9 September 2024.
Accepted abstracts must be submitted with full presentations by 31 October 2024.
