Remote Internship

The Fund for Peace provides full-time and part-time remote internships for graduates and undergraduates interested in conflict, early warning, peace building, security, and human rights. Interns gain responsibility, exposure to research, and access to international relations experts.

Location: Remote
Start Date: September 2, 2024
End Date: December 31, 2024
Application Deadline: July 25, 2024
Payment: $350-$700 per month stipend
Hours per week: 25-40 hours/week
Duration: 3-4 months.
Internship system: Full-time or Part-time

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Conflict analysis
  • Data coding and analysis
  • Research, writing, editing, note-taking, proofreading
  • Writing articles, reports, blog posts
  • Monitoring and updating country-specific data
  • Monitoring and updating social media
  • Supporting The Fund for Peace’s public events
  • Attending conferences and roundtables.

Internship Requirements for The Fund for Peace

  • Master’s degree preferred in conflict, international affairs, public policy, economics, global development, or related field.
  • Experience in The Fund for Peace’s programmatic areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Organizational excellence.
  • Foreign language skills preferred.
  • Initiative, flexibility, humor, and ability to work independently and in a team.
