Tech Global Institute focuses on promoting equity for the Global Majority on the Internet, investigating design, governance, and processes that impact their communities. They investigate systemic issues and the underlying assumptions affecting online experiences.
A cohort of six 2024-25 fellows is sought to promote equity, accountability, and transparency in technology design and governance, particularly among technologists, community organizers, activists, and policy professionals, aiming to build a safer, more equitable, and inclusive Internet ecosystem.

Fellowship Application Qualifications
- Impact: Clearly articulate a structured policy question, timelines, and expected outputs.
- Experience: Familiarity with local political and policy contexts.
- Past contributions: Demonstration of past contributions in related fields.
- Background: Various fields including law, social science research, and human-centered
- Mission and values alignment: Commitment to advancing the rights, opportunities, and voices of Global Majority communities.
